Electric shoes for faster walking ‘the future of urban mobility’
An American robotics and engineering company has just unveiled its battery-powered shoes which it claims could help shape the future of urban mobility.
Said to be the “world’s fastest shoe” the Moonwalkers assist in boosting walk speeds by up to 250% from the usual 2.5 to 4mph to 7mph. The creators, Shift Robotics of Pittsburgh, are now running a Kickstarter campaign to fund start of production, offering investors a pair for delivery next March for $1,099 USD.
